Krisstian Speaks About His Oscar Nominee Mentor for Sub Rosa on Unimás


Producer and Director, Krisstian de Lara, gets invited to Despierta El Paso on UniMás (Telefutura) to ask the communities of El Paso, Texas, Las Cruces, New Mexico and Juarez, Mexico to be a part of his upcoming short film titled Sub Rosa. Krisstian starts off the interview by inviting everyone to learn more about Sub Rosa by visiting krisstian.com/subrosa, “so you can learn more about the theme of this short film and its controversial subject matter.” Krisstian states, “I believe it’s really interesting and has great potential to win a…” The host of Despierta El Paso, Brenda Reyes interrupts, “an Oscar.” Krisstian laughs, “Exactly!” Reyes replies,

Krisstian confirms by speaking about what a great honor it is to have Tom Musca, an Oscar nominee for his feature film screenplay “Stand and Deliver,” as a mentor. Krisstian also emphasizes the great team he has brought together for the creation of this film, including his producer. He also discusses the way his team has been working on this project with incredible professionalism.

Throughout the interview, footage of Limbo and Madre Maquina‘s music video, projects Krisstian de Lara directed and photographed this past summer in Spain, were broadcast live.
