Krisstian de Lara Speaks About the Idea Behind Limbo





Producer and Director, Krisstian de Lara, speaks about Limbo, a short film he directed in Alicante, Spain. A film that tells the story of Susana, a woman who is on the verge of ending her marriage when she finds hope from a one day romance that reshapes her definition of love.

The interview begins with Krisstian answering questions such as how was the story born, “I knew from the beginning that I wanted to create a story with a female protagonist were she would be in the same place at the beginning of the story and at the end, with the same characters, same atmosphere, the same everything, but have only one thing different, which is herself.” Krisstian goes into details of how important was that to him when executing this story.

As the interview progresses, Krisstian also answers questions such as what was it like to film in Spain, what was the biggest challenge when shooting this project and what is love to the characters, and to him. Krisstian states how critical Spain’s architecture and how it influenced the story.
